He studied at the National School of Music,University of Mexico, finishing with first class honours in 1992 He was a Soloist with the major Symphony Orchestras in Mexico, a member of the Ensemble “The Mexican Soloists” which toured Europe. He was a founder member of the Percussion Ensemble of the University of Mexico, premiering and recording the work of the most important Latin American Composers, playing more than 500 concerts at international festivals and performing at the PASIC in the USA. He was a Principal of the Mexico City Chamber Orchestra, Principal of the Orquesta de Quintana Roo, Member of “La Camerata “ chamber Orchestra and in demand for freelance sectional work with all the Orchestras in the Country.
